    Bush and the Republicans were not protecting us on 9-11, and we aren’t a lot safer now. We may be more afraid due to george bush, but are we safer? Being fearful does not necessarily make one safer. Fear can cause people to hide and cower. What do you think? Is killing thousands of innocent civilians okay when you are doing a little government makeover?
    Our country is in debt until forever, we don’t have jobs, and we live in fear. We have invaded a country and been responsible for thousands of deaths.
    The more people that the government puts in jails, the safer we are told to think we are. The real terrorists are wherever they are, but they aren’t living in a country with bars on the windows. We are.

    Good posts, but you could change the theme and make it more pretty.. Otherwise, keep up the good work.

  21. 2007 December 31

    @Munim

    I just changed my theme two days back, after getting the custom CSS upgrade. There is a difference between having a self hosted blog (like yours) where you have access to PHP and XHTML and Java and other files and hundreds of FREE themes, and this blog on WP.com, where all you can tweak is the CSS, that too after paying for the Custom CSS upgrade. I’m not sure if you’re aware of it. Anyway, I like minimal, 3 column themes and love this one.

    Thanks for the quick reply to my feedback! :-)
    WordPress charges for custom CSS upgrade?! I didn’t know that..
    Well, in that case, I guess you did a pretty good job in customizing the look

    Hi,

    I am Samir Ansari, from Mumbai. I have just been to your blog, its great! Read a lot instead of an article. Just had a suggestion, u re having such a great a blog with so many hits, why don’t you setup a blog with your name on paid hosting service.

    Like http://www.havetoremember.com or something like this. Just let me know in case, you like this idea. I have a small hosting company, I can sponsor domain & hosting service for you or we can work out something.

    Very warm regards,

    Ansari Samir.

    P.S. Best of Luck !

    @Samir

    Thanks for your kind note. If you read the link that Shefaly left, then you probably know that I did try self hosting a couple of days back, but it’s too much of a hassle for me. :) For now, I’m happy here.

    @Shefaly

    Thank you for digging out that link. :)

    Anand- Thanks for stopping by. :) I just took a look at your blog and left a comment. I’ll repeat it here-

    Anand, did you click those pictures on your Flickr album? This is such a CO-INCIDENCE! I was taking a look at The National Gymnasium pic just today and wanted to repost it in my tumblelog because it’s Stunning! And here you are…contacting me on my blog. Very queer. I’m very happy to know that you have a blog and that I can view your pics here.

    Congratulations are in order because I saw your National Gym pic among the top pics (at Flickr.com) today (via popurls.com). :) You need to give me some photography lessons.

    Edit: There seems to be a confusion. Just read your email. I guess you’ve set your Flickr widget to show random pics from all the users. I thought those pics were yours. :)
